This policy explains how VAOW Mobility Deutschland UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (“VAOW”, “we”) processes personal data when you visit vaowmobility.com, book a demo, or contact us about VAOW Platform.

2. Data we process
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Contact and identity data (name, work email, company, phone)
- Demo booking data (selected date/time, fleet type, vehicle estimate, message)
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, device, referrer, pages viewed)
- Communication content you send us by form or email
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Website operation & security — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest)
- Responding to enquiries and demo bookings — Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR
- Pre-contractual sales communication about VAOW Platform — Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR
- Legal obligations (e.g. commercial retention) — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR
4. Demo booking form
When you book a private demo, the information you submit is stored so we can schedule and confirm the appointment, prepare the walkthrough, and follow up about VAOW Platform. Fields marked optional are not required.
5. Cookies and analytics
The marketing site may use essential cookies or local storage for language preference and session continuity. If we introduce optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent.
6. Recipients and processors
Personal data is processed on our hosting infrastructure and by service providers acting as processors (e.g. hosting, email delivery), bound by contract under Art. 28 GDPR. We do not sell personal data.
7. Retention
Enquiry and demo data are kept only as long as needed for the conversation and legitimate business follow-up, or longer where statutory retention applies. Technical logs are rotated on a shorter cycle.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR you may have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Germany, typically your state data protection authority).
